Road to LAS VEGAS 2022 T&C

The following are the terms and conditions of the "Road to Las Vegas Promotion" (the "Event"). The Event is organized by the applicable 888 group company (the “Promoter”) (as defined in www.888poker.ca Terms of Service) who is the operator of the www.888poker.com website (the "Website"). Your participation in this Event shall be deemed to constitute your complete acceptance of the provisions below.
This Event shall be open only to persons who are located in Ontario, Canada at the time of their participation in the Event. If any person participates in the Event while located outside Ontario, or is ineligible to engage in the gambling service included on www.888casino.ca (“the Site”), any prize, bonus and/or other benefit which such person has received and/or is eligible to receive under this Event and any winnings generated through the wagering of any of the aforesaid shall not be awarded to any such person and/or shall be forfeited by any such person.

The Event shall commence on 17/04/2022 (once we start) and shall conclude on 19/06/2022 (the “Promotion Period”).
Participation in the Event is limited to persons who: (i) are aged 21 or over at the commencement of the Promotion Period; (ii) have registered with the Website; and (iii) have username with the Website.
The Promoter will organize and host on the Website a weekly $550 buy-in event qualifying tournaments, from 17/04/2022 through.
All accommodation must be arranged exclusively through the “Main Event Travel” company (hereafter termed the “MET”). You will be contacted by MET approximately 10 days after you qualify in order to make your accommodation arrangements. After MET have contacted you, $1,500 will be credited to a MET account created under your name using your 888poker account email address. You will then be able to visit their website https://www.maineventtravel.com/ and register using the same email address associated with your 888poker account and select your accommodation.
Please note that you are also solely responsible for booking your accommodation with MET after they have contacted you. Should your choice of hotel exceed $1,500, you will need to pay the difference in the cost by credit card, or debit, directly to the hotel or to MET.
Please note, no refunds will be given if you check out of your accommodation or if the value of the booking is lower than the $1,500 provided. For any inquiries regarding accommodation arrangements, please feel free to contact our designated MET representative, Mark, at the following address: 888live@maineventtravel.com. Please first allow 10 days after qualifying before contacting MET representative.
The Promoter will not be responsible for arranging transportation for the Winner from his/her home to the airport and from the airport to the hotel, nor any related parking expenses.
The Winner cannot redeem the Prize Package for cash or transfer the Prize Package in any way.
If the Winner is unable to attend the Event (for any reason), the monetary value of the Prize Package will not be paid to the Winner, nor will he/she be entitled to receive any part of the Prize Package.
To participate in the Event and to receive the travel money, Winner will be required to sign 888poker standard Letter of Understanding.
The Promoter is not responsible for changing flights, accommodation, and anything else relating to the itinerary after the Winner has chosen his/her travel arrangements.
The Promoter and any/all other of its affiliated companies are not liable for any damage, loss, expenses (including traveling and accommodation), accident, injury and/or inconvenience arising in any way that may be suffered by, or caused to any Winner, his/her properties arising out of their participation in the Event or any Event-related activities, including without limitation in connection with any COVID-19 restrictions imposed by local government authority or health agency applicable with respect to the traveling from or to the Event destination, whether connected to quarantine restrictions, entry\departure restrictions, or otherwise.
The Event will be held at the Bally’s & Paris Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.
To register to the Event, you need to meet the designated 888poker representatives at the Bally’s & Paris Hotel & Casino. Specific location will be provided at a closer date to the Event.
Entrants must be at least 21 years of age to play in the Event. All entrants to the Event will be required to produce proof of age and be further required to provide two forms of identification; at least one must show current address. This can be either two photo IDs (passport and driver’s license), or a passport and an official bill showing Winner name and address (such as a bank statement or a utility bill). Entrants who are not able to present such proof will be excluded from participation in the Event with no compensation.
Without derogating from the provisions of Section 13 above, the Promoter will not be responsible for arranging transportation from your home to the airport, nor from the airport to your hotel, nor from your hotel to the Bally’s & Paris Hotel & Casino, nor any related parking expenses.
If you become the Event Champion, you will be obligated to play in up to three (3) 888poker LIVE events upon the request of 888poker during the course of the year 2022. Travel and accommodation costs will be at the expense of 888poker.
By participating in the Event, the Winner hereby agrees to act as an ambassador for the Website at the Event, which includes wearing the branded clothing/patch provided by the Promoter exclusively throughout the duration of the Event, including at the final table. The Winner is not allowed to wear any patches related to any other online operators at the featured table.
By participating in the Event and winning the Prize Package, the Winner grants the Promoter, its affiliates, as well as their marketing affiliates, a world-wide, sub-licensable, perpetual, royalty-free, irrevocable right to use his/her name, image, voice, appearance, likeness, statements, performance and\or testimonials(s) as submitted to, captured and\or otherwise recorded during the Event by the Promoter and\or any of its affiliates and\or third party acting on their behalf, in any manner and in any media, now known or later developed, at any time for the endorsement, promotion, advertising and marketing of the Website and the services offered thereunder, without review, further permission or any additional compensation of any amount or kind whatsoever, and the Winner expressly waives any claims against the Promoter and all its affiliates forming the 888 group of companies in this regard.
Promoter does not endorse any deals whatsoever in any of our tournament qualifiers and as a result will not be held responsible or liable for settling any private deals made between members.
During the Event, strict rules regarding player behavior will be enforced by the tournament organizers which may include disqualification. If you are penalized or disqualified at the Event as a result of an infraction of the rules set forth by the tournament organizers, the Promoter assumes no responsibility or liability for your entry into the Event and no refund will be provided.
All Website fraud and collusion rules apply. Any fraudulent activity will result in the Winner losing his/her Prize Package and the Promoter reserves the right to take additional action against such a player, which may include, but not be limited to, termination of the player’s account, as well as disqualification from this Event.
THE WINNER MUST BE IN POSSESSION OF A VALID PASSPORT FOR AT LEAST SIX MONTHS BEYOND THE CONCLUSION OF THE EVENT AND THE WINNER IS SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR OBTAINING ANY VISA (IF REQUIRED) AND/OR ESTA (IF REQUIRED) TO TRAVEL TO LAS VEGAS. THE COMPANY ASSUMES NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE WINNER BEING UNABLE TO TRAVEL TO THE UNITED STATES DUE TO LACK OF APPROPRIATE TRAVEL DOCUMENTATION OR FOR ANY OTHER REASON AND THE MONETARY VALUE OF THE PRIZE PACKAGE WILL NOT BE REIMBURSED.
The Winner of the Prize Package will be solely responsible for arranging his/her travel to and from Las Vegas and shall be responsible for taking out his/her own travel insurance, which includes, but is not limited to, medical insurance and lost luggage insurance.
The Promoter is not responsible for changing flights, accommodation, or anything else relating to itinerary after the Winner has chosen his/her travel arrangements.
By participating in the Event, each player hereby acknowledges and further agree that the Promoter and the 888 group of companies can use the player's personal data, such as name, home address, email address, telephone number, etc., ourselves or by using third party subcontractor, for the purpose of performing and facilitating the Event (including without limitation in respect of delivery of the Prize Package), subject to and in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Each player that opts to participate in this Event, must ensure that his\her personal data entered during his\her registration with the Website (including without limitation E-mail address and telephone number) is valid and correct.
If a player’s account with the Website has been closed or self-excluded at any time up until the Event takes place, he/she will not be eligible for receiving the prize, and the monetary value of the prize will not be reimbursed.
By entering the Event, each entrant agrees to release, discharge and hold harmless the Company, its legal representatives, affiliates, subsidiaries, agencies and their respective officers, directors, employees and agents, from any damages whatsoever arising out of this Event or the awarding or use of the Prize Package.
The Winner may be required to complete and sign an insurance waiver with any third-party vendor providing services in relation to the Prize Package or the Promoter prior to being allowed to take up the Prize Package. The Winner may also be required by the Promoter or by any third-party vendor providing services in relation to the Prize Package to sign further documents before delivery of the Prize Package.
These terms and conditions have been drafted in the English language. In the event of any discrepancy between the meanings of any translated versions of these terms and conditions and the English language version, the meaning of the English language version shall prevail.
The Promoter may cancel, modify, or suspend the Event, and any of the bonuses or benefits offered hereunder, where required for security reasons, to comply with applicable law or regulation, due to abuse or otherwise where the Event is not capable of being conducted as specified as a result of exceptional circumstances. Other than where necessary to prevent fraud or other similar unlawful behavior, any such cancellation, modification or suspension will not apply to you if you have already opted into the Event, made a deposit in expectation of receipt of a bonus or other benefits offered, and/or commenced taking part in the Event prior to the date of the communication of the cancellation, modification or suspension.
The Promoter reserves the right to cancel or withdraw the Prize Package from the Winner, without monetary compensation, if the Winner is under any investigation or his/her account with the Website is closed/blocked.
Any provisions herein which by their nature are required to survive termination or expiration of this Event in order to achieve their purpose shall so survive until it shall no longer be necessary for them to survive in order to achieve that purpose.
