What is HUD?

HUD stands for ‘Heads-up Display’. The 888poker HUD is a free tool our players can use to get an overview of statistics of other players at their current table or tournament. Our HUD works on mobile, PC download and web versions, so everyone can use it to get useful insights as they play.

How to use it?

The HUD shows as a small circle with a number in it, positioned next to player’s avatar.

The number inside the circle reflects the value of one of the stats for that player - the VPIP – which reflects how often a player voluntarily puts money in the pot, given the opportunity.

By hovering or tapping on the circle, it will expand as a small window from the player's avatar to show more stats and info.

Click on the small arrow at the bottom left and it will extend to a larger window in which you can tag an opponent or add notes about the other players.

What’s inside the HUD window?

Username (the player’s username)
'i' (Info icon that opens a window explaining the HUD and the different stats)
Avatar (the player’s avatar)
Flag (The player’s country flag)
4 main statistics (Hands, VPIP, PRE-FLOPR, 3Bet)
Total Winnings (The total amount of all previous tournament and Blast winnings)

The statistics:

All gaming stats displayed are based on that specific table or tournament session data (except SNAP)
The stats for a session of SNAP are combined across all tables in the same pool
4 Main stats will appear as a default for all games: # of Hands | VPIP | PFR | 3Bet (see explanation below)
The stats are updated at the end of each round
If a player leaves and rejoins the table, the previous stats will be kept for 2 hours

Stats calculations

Hands	The number of hands played by the player since they arrived at that table	Total hands played at this table
VPIP	Voluntarily Put Money in the Pot: How often a player puts in money given the opportunity	(Total Times Voluntarily Put Money in the Pot / Total Hands Played) * 100
PRF	Pre-Flop Raise: How often a player raises pre-flop	(Total Hands Raised Pre-Flop / Total Hands Played) * 100
3Bet	Raise 3-Bet: How often a player re-raises a raise pre-flop	(Total Times 3Bet on Pre-Flop) / Total 3Bet Opportunities on PRE-FLOP) * 100
Total MTT's winnings	Total winnings in MTTs (Multi-table Tournaments)	· Includes all tournaments since the player's first day at 888 · Includes regular prize pool prizes · Includes bounty prizes · Includes canceled and/or refunded tournaments · Includes Private Tournaments - play-with-friends Tournaments · Includes Freerolls · Includes Satellites
